Company HPC Cluster

Company is a small HPC cluster developed for use within the Environmental Processes Branch of the Environmental Laboratory, ERDC. It currently consists of 15 nodes, each built with:
  • AMD FX-8350 Black Edition 8-core 4.0 GHz processors
  • HyperX Fury Black Series 8 GB RAM

The master node has 4 TB of storage space with a 4 TB backup. The nodes are connected with a TP-Link Gigabit switch. The cluster also includes a network attached storage box with four 4 TB hard drives in a RAID configuration, powered by FreeNAS, providing an additional 11 TB storage space.

The master node runs CentOS 7. The cluster is managed with WareWulf from Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. Compute nodes are managed and jobs scheduled with Torque and Maui from Adaptive Computing.
